Experiences between humans and monkeys can often be surprisingly sweet and friendly. One such example was seen recently at Singapore’s Changi Air Terminal. A video circulating on social media showed an airplane terminal employee calmly guiding a monkey towards the exit at airports around the world. The video shows the woman in uniform politely and calmly guiding the monkey towards the exit. It is unclear whether the woman had made proper preparations to handle the primate, but her gesture has won people’s hearts. Social media reaction: The video garnered a lot of likes and views. It also received some comments from people. While many praised the woman’s intelligence, some could not help but poke fun. One person joked, “He was looking for his lost banana which is worth $8.3 million,” referencing a later incident in which crypto magnate Justin Sun ate a banana he had bought for $6.2 million. The artwork created by Italian craftsman Maurizio Cattelan was a banana drain taped to a white wall.
“Pointing towards the exit is what got me hooked,” posted another. “People walking around like it’s just another day at Changi Airport,” commented a third. “Animal or human, kindness is key!” wrote a fourth.
A monkey wandering inside Changi Airport in Singapore is reportedly not a one-time incident. Earlier, other macaques were spotted in different parts of this major international airport.
