Traffic advisory has been issued and restrictions imposed in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram for the Republic Day parade. Commuters planning to go out on this day should check the traffic advisory carefully to avoid unnecessary hassles on the road. Traffic advisory in Delhi Traffic jams have been prevailing in central Delhi for the past few days due to the Republic Day parade and hundreds of commuters were seen stranded on the road for several hours. Traffic jams have been observed in many areas of south Delhi due to the Republic Day parade. The Delhi Traffic Police had issued a traffic advisory due to the full-dress rehearsal and the first parade of the Republic Day on January 22 and the main event on January 26. According to the traffic advisory, there will be traffic jams on the main roads around Kartavya Marg and Chhatrasal Stadium. On January 26, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi will hoist the national flag at the Chhatrasal Stadium and MLAs, MLAs and senior officials are expected to attend the event. Due to the massive gathering of the crowd, appropriate action has been taken and action warnings have been issued. Commuters have been advised to stay away from the following roads and take interchange routes from 6 am to 1 pm on January 22 (full dress exercise) and January 25, 2025, to avoid delays.

Traffic advisory in Gurugram
Traffic restrictions have been imposed in Gurugram on the entry of heavy and medium goods vehicles into the city by the action administration for the Republic Day celebrations.
According to the warning issued by the Gurugram Police, these vehicles will not be allowed to enter the cities from 5 pm on January 22 to 1:30 pm on January 23.
Heavy vehicles have not been allowed to enter both the cities from 5 pm on January 25 to 1.30 pm on January 26.
DCP (action) Virendra Vij said that heavy vehicles will be stopped at different check points as part of the action warning.
Apart from this, heavy vehicles coming from Jaipur on NH-48 will be stopped at Pachgaon on KMP Expressway.
Trucks coming from Gurugram will be stopped at different routes at Sant Honda Chowk, Shankar Chowk, Mehrauli Border, Sohna, Pataudi and Farukhnagar, among others.
Traffic warning in Noida
Traffic warnings have been issued in Noida to regulate the movement of vehicles during the Republic Day celebrations and the main parade. During this, common commuters have been encouraged to participate in the activities from January 22 to the conclusion of the festivals on January 26.
According to the Noida Action Council, heavy vehicles entering Delhi from Chilla Border can take a U-turn at Chilla Lal Batti and connect to the Eastern Fringe Expressway via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Heavy trucks coming from DND can also take a U-turn at the toll plaza and go to the Eastern Fringe Expressway using the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
Other heavy trucks coming from Kalindi Kunj border will be diverted towards Eastern Fringe Expressway from the underpass crossing point near Yamuna river.
